    I have led such a blessed life so far. Although they are humble dreams, they have been lived.  I find myself entering a new chapter of life- and looking at who and what I can be of service to.  Experiencing Hurricane Michael and losing my sweet home and vacation rental business all in the same day taught me a lot about what is important.  I was left with little to nothing- and had to believe that my self worth existed far beyond any of it.  I had to be enough- just me- what was in my heart, and what I brought to the lives of those around me.  At 67, I am forever on the learning curve of  life... every day trying to become the best and highest version of my self. 

    I still have dreams to live...crewing a boat on a long journey to wherever... working for or with an organization to save the wildlife in our oceans from pollutants and humans... to own another small cottage up in Michigan close to the lake.  To paint- to photograph, to garden and dine in the corners of small cafes.  To spend time with family and friends... to end each day tired, waking with a spirit to guide me...and to embrace wrinkles as wisdom, and the new "face of beauty".

    Thank you for spending time on my site.  I've whittled it down to the basics... a small sampling of all that inspires me and the way I see "life". - D.
